THRACE, Thasos, (after 148 BC), silver tetradrachm, (16.08 g), reduced Attic standard, obv. Dionysus right, wearing ivy wreath, rev. Herakles standing left, holding club and lion skin, M to left, **HRAKLEOYS SWTH POS QASIWN* to left, right, and below (HGC 6 359, S.1759, BMC 72). Toned, nearly very fine.
