EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos (Auletes), first reign, (80-55 BC), silver tetradrachm (13.73g), Alexandria mint, dated RY 17 (65/4 BC), obv. diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis, rev. eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings closed and palm branch behind, LiI above headdress to left, **PA* to right, **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU* around (Svoronos 1864 (Cleopatra VII); CNG Cop 388; DCA 69). Polished, surface roughness, fine.
