L. JULIUS L.F. Caesar, (103 BC), silver denarius (2.51g), Rome mint, head of young Mars facing left, wearing crested helmet, control letter (C?) above, CAESAR behind, rev. Venus in chariot being drawn by two flying Cupids, lyre before, control letter (E) above, IVLI.L.F in exergue. Die flaw at 3 o'clock on rim of obverse, well centered for a small flan, pleasantly toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
