CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on a 1797 cartwheel penny with both sides shaved smooth, on one side is stipple engraved a man and lady in period dress facing each other and holding one hand with the man presenting the lady with an open ring box with the other hand and at the side on the left is the initial E and at the right side is the initial D, on the reverse is stipple engraved, "When/this you see/Remember Mee (sic)/And bear Mee (sic) in/Your Mind let all/the World Say What/They Will don't prove/them as Unkind (with a house within trees at the base)". Fine.
