CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, engraved on a 1797 cartwheel penny shaved smooth on both sides, on one side is engraved a couple in period clothes holding hands with a flower between them and with the engraved legend, "J.Williams Aged 18 Mary Price Aged 16", and on the reverse is engraved, "When/this you see-re/member me and/bear me in your/m.i.n.d. & when I get/my sweet liberty to/you I will prove/Kind." and below this is engraved a bunch of flowers. Hairlines, otherwise fine.
