SAMARIA, (mid - late 4th century BC), "Middle Levantine" Series, silver obol, (0.57g), obv. two figures advancing left, carrying an animal bound to a pole between them, rev. Persian king, wearing kidarys and kandys, head left, holding in each hand a lion by it's hind legs, all within square incuse (Qedar 130, Meshorer 144, HGC unlisted). Hoard patina, green deposits, a very well centered strike especially for issue, nearly extremely fine and rare.
