PHOENICIA, Tyre, (92/1 BC), silver shekel, (14.17 g), dated CY 35, obv. laureate head of Melkart right, rev. Eagle standing left on prow, palm frond over far shoulder, club in left field, E**L* above, **D* in right field, **TUROU IERAS KAI ASULAOU* around, dotted border (HGC 10 357, DCA2 946, BMC 126-7). Pleasant old cabinet tone, well centered on a full flan with crisp details, good extremely fine and rare thus.
