PHOENICIA, Tyre, (1st century BC - 1st century AD), silver half shekel or didrachm, (5.72g), uncertain date, obv. laureate head of Herakles-Melqart right, beardless, rev. eagle standing left with closed wings, palm branch over shoulder, club to left, monogram above, **[TUROU IERAS] KAI ASULOU* (S.5921, HGC 10 358, BMC 240). Surface roughness, dark toned, good fine.
