AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued 15 B.C. by L. Naevius Surdinus, (7.966 grams), obv. AVGVSTVS / TRIBVNIC / POTEST in three lines within oak wreath, rev. L SVRDINVS III VIR A A A F F around large SC, (cf.S.504, RIC 384, CBN 467). Off centred on the reverse, brown patina, otherwise very fine and rare.
