CONSTANTIUS II (A.D. 337-361), solidus, Nicomedia mint, issued 351-355, obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing holding spear and shield, rev. Roma and Constantinopolis seated holding inscribed shield, GLORIA REIPVBLICAE around, (RIC 74 noted R2, cf.S.3988). Surface scratches, otherwise good very fine and very rare.
