CONSTANS II, (A.D. 641-668), Syracuse mint, follis, obv. Constans crowned bust facing, rev. M over large SCL, cross to l., (S.1103, D.O.9 [Heraclonas]). Weak in places, good fine and scarce.

Originally thought to be an issue of Heraclonas (641), but modern scholarship suggests it belongs to Constans II (Sear p.199, p.222).
