SICILY, Syracuse, (c. 344-336 B.C. time of Timoleon), AE litra, (32.49 grams), obv. helmeted head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet, [SY]PA above to left, rev. starfish between two dolphins, (S.1189, BMC 287). Good fine.

The largest copper coin struck at Syracuse and very early for copper coin manufacture.
