SALONINA, wife of Gallienus who died A.D. 268, billon antoninianus, issued 263-4, Rome mint, (3.708 grams), obv. diademed veiled and draped bust of Salonina to right on crescent, around SALONINA AVG, rev. Concord seated left, around CONCORD AET, RP in exergue (S.10629, RIC 2, RSC 25); another Asian mint, issued 259 A.D., (4.156 grams), obv. diademed veiled and draped bust of Salonina to right on crescent, around CORN SALONINA AVG, rev. Emperor and Empress clasping hands, wreath between, around CONCORDIA AVG, (cf.S.10630, cf.RIC 63, RSC 31). The last unlisted with AVG ending on reverse with this design, otherwise very fine - extremely fine. (2)
