ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Antioch mint, issued A.D. 219-220, (3.100 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP ANTO NINVS AVG, rev. around SPEI PERPETVAE, Spes advancing to left, holding flower and lifting skirt, (S.7547, RIC 199, RSC 273). Light tone, off centred reverse, good very fine.
