HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 130-1, (3.504 grams), obv. laureate bust of Hadrian to right, draped, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around SECVR PVB COS III P P, Securitas seated to left on throne, holding sceptre and left hand on head, (S.3541, RIC 221, RSC 1399). Dark grey-brown and gold patina good very fine and scarce.
