THRACE, Tauric Chersonese, Panticapaeum, (340-325 B.C.), AE 17, (5.936 grams), obv. Bearded satyr head to left, rev. head of ox to left, around **P A N*, (cf.S.1699, BMC 17-8, SNG Stancomb 557-559 [Pl.XXV], MacDonald 67 [p.23], SNG BM 890-893 [Pl.XXXIV]). Dark brown patina, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
