3738 Pte Harold Edward Crofton, Enl.30Aug1915 12 reinforcement 2 Bn, 09May1916 transfer to 45 Bn, 09Oct1916 transfer to Prisoners of War Coy in the field, 10Jan1917 transfer to 4th Div Salvage Coy, 08Jan1919 invalided back to Australia via H.M.A.T. Orsova, Disch.17Apr1919. Together with Victory Medal box and a 1945 Victory Medal commemorative medalet as given to school children at the end of WWII.
