ITALY, Bruttium, The Brettian League, AE 17, Half Uncia, (208-205 B.C.), (2.87 grams), obv. Diademed head of Nike to left, ear of corn behind, [NIKA], rev. Naked Zeus advancing right, holding sceptre and hurling thunderbolt, cornucopiae in field to right, to left, BPETTI**W*N,(S.705, HN 1982, Scheu 25 [Num. Chron. 1961], SNG Cop. 1682, SNG ANS 60, SNG Munich 1293-5). Very fine/extremely fine, very scarce.

Ex Dr. Garth Drewry Collection, Triton XI January 9, 2008 (lot 1758 part) and previously from Paramount International Coin Corporation, Miami Beach International, Auction Sale, January 7-8, 1977 (lot 527) with ticket.
