Wilfred S.James / 518 / Australian Forces / Who Gained the D.C.M. at the / Dardenelles / 1915', on the back, initials 'C.J.' / August 23rd 1917'. Very fine.

Cpl Wilfred Skelton James, 15th Inf Battn, Enl.17Nov1914, awarded DCM for conspicuous bravery during the operations near Gaba Tepe (Dardanelles) - LG 06Sep1915 CAG 30Dec1915, also MID LG 05Aug1915; WIA Dardanelles; RTA 14Mar1916.
