BOIOTIA, probably struck at Thebes, (379-371 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.634 grams), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. kantharos with letters **[B]O [I]* either side, club above, in incuse square, (S.2396, BMC 31 [p.35]). Off centred, lightly toned nearly very fine and rare, comes with dealer's description ticket.
