CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius issued 213, Rome mint, (3.17 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding sceptre and pileus, around P M TR P XVI COS IIII P P, (S.6830, RIC 209a, RSC 224). Slight flan crack with traces of hoard patination, otherwise extremely fine with traces of mint bloom.
