MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.954 grams), Uncertain Eastern mint, issued c.323-305 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, ANT monogram to left, to right **FILIPPOU*, below **[BA]SILE[WS]*, all within dotted border, (cf.S.6749, Price P225, BMC P225, M.-, Meydancikkale 2065). Very fine.
