EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), AE 40, (44.81 g), Alexandria mint, issued 246-221 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to right looking left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, cornucopiae over shoulder, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs **L*, (S.7843, Sv.1166, SNG Cop.220-1). Fine - nearly very fine.
