MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 166, (3.28 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, rev. around TR P XX IMP IIII COS III, PAX in exergue, Pax standing to left, holding olive branch and cornucopiae, (S.4915, BMC 401, RIC 159, RSC 435). Toned with blue and gold highlights, very fine and scarce.
