A. SPURILIUS, silver denarius, issued 139 B.C., 3.91 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 230/1, Sydenham 448, BMC 910, B. Spurilia 1, Obv. Head of Roma r. helmeted, X behind, border of dots, Rev. Luna in biga to r., holding reins in l. hand and goad in r. hand, below horses A. SP VR(ligated) I, ROMA in exerque. Attractive patina, very fine, scarce, (1461).
