SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.18 g), Tyre mint, issued 136-5 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, rev. eagle standing to left with closed wings on prow of galley, palm branch behind, Tyre monogram above club to left, year to right ZOP, other letters in field, around **BASILEWS ANTIOCOU*, (cf.S.7094, SC.2109.5d, cf.Newell "Tyre" [ANS-MN 73] 121, SNG Israel I (Spaer) 2027, SNG Cop. 335). Off centred reverse, otherwise very fine or better, scarce.
