Q. CASSIUS LONGINUS, (c.55 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.71 g), obv. Liberty head to right, LIBERT behind, Q. CASSIVS before, rev. curule chair within circular temple of Vesta between urn and voting tablet inscribed AC, (S.390, Cr.428/2, Syd.918, B. Cassia 8). Toned, with a rust spot behind neck and reverse off centred, otherwise very fine/good very fine and rare.
