MACEDON, Kingdom of, Antigonos Gonatas, silver tetradrachm, 271-239 B.C., (15.05 g), obv. Pan's head to left, with pedium on shoulder, all within Macedonian shield, rev. Athena Alkidemos advancing to left, with thunderbolt and shield, Macedonian helmet in field to left, **HR* monogram to right, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **ANTIGONOU*, (S.6783, SNG Munich -, Touratsoglou 18-24, AMNG III/2). Some flan flaws, otherwise toned, very fine and scarce.
