THRACE, Philippopolis, Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222), AE 17, (2.87 g), obv. Elagabalus laureate head to right, around legend AV K M A[VP ANTO]NEINOC, rev. tripod with snake around one leg, around **FILIPPOPOLEITWN NEW[KOPWN]*. (S.-, BMC 51, Varbanov 1796). Dark brown patina, very fine and rare.
