HOSTILIAN, son of Trajan Decius, (251 A.D.), silver antoninianus, issued 251 A.D., Rome Mint, (5.00 g), obv. Radiate bust draped to r., of Hostilian, C VALENS HOSTIL MES QVINTVS N C around, rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS around, Hostilian standing l., holding standard and reversed spear, (S.9561, RIC 181d, C.34). With even grey tone patination, nearly extremely fine.
