Pietas standing to left, raising both hands, [PI]ETAS AVGG, around, S C across field, (S.9676, RIC 116a, C.86) (illustrated); Diocletian, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Cyzicus mint, issued A.D. 305-7, (9.64 g), obv. laureate mantled bust of Diocletian to right, around D N DIOCLETIANO BEATISSIMO SEN AVG, rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing to right, Quies standing left, leaning on sceptre, S F in field KS between figures, (S.12944, RIC 29a). Fine - very fine.
