VOLUSIAN, (A.D. 251-253), silver antoninianius, Milan mint, (3.38 g), obv. radiate bust draped to right, around IMP C C VIB VOLVSIANVS AVG, rev. Virtus standing right, holding spear and leaning on a shield, around VIRTVS AVGG, (S.9776, RIC 206, RSC 133). Toned, nearly extremely fine.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3460) and from Auctionshaus H.D. Rauch, Vienna, Austria with their ticket.
