MARIUS, (A.D. 268), billon antoninianus, Mainz or Trier mint (2.75 g), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP C M AVR MARIVS AVG, rev. VICT ORI A AVG, Victory advancing to left, (S.11123, RIC 17, C.19). Dark brown patina, extremely fine/ very fine and very scarce.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 109 (lot 3895) and the D.J.Foster Collection.
