EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 34 drachm, (32.10 g), Alexandria mint, issued 246-221 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front cornucopiae, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, between legs XP monogram, (cf.S.7814, Sv.965, SNG Cop. 173-5, Pitchfork 31). Very fine or better, rough surface.
