Daniel Redmond O'Keefe, was born 16 July 1898 at Rutherglen, Victoria. He was employed as a baker when he joined the Victoria Police on 26 November 1919 and allotted number 6379. He performed duty at the following stations, Depot, Russell Street, and Bourke Street West. He was discharged on resignation on 28 February 1921. During 1922 he worked as a barman. He then joined the NSW Police Force on 16 September 1922 and served until at least 1968, No. 1428 at rank of Constable. Daniel Redmond O'Keefe died on 18 July 1971.
