A in star, rev. bird right, (S.158, ABC 1133, Van Arsdell 561-1, M 316, BMC 1569-71) (illustrated); Verica, (c.10 - 40 A.D.), Verica Head on Spear type, silver unit, (0.68 g), obv. bull butting to right, VERIC[A] above, [REX] below, rev. figure standing left, holding branch, head on spear behind, CO[M MI]F either side, beaded border, (S.137, ABC 1235, BMC 1450-854, M -, Van A 506). Toned, nearly very fine - good very fine, second coin chipped, scarce to extremely rare. (2)

First coin ex Tom May Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 99, lot 2304. Both coins previously Spink London with tickets.

The Tincomarus minim is extremely rare with only 8 examples recorded of the A in obverse type.
