CELTIC, Southern Gaul, Insubres or Salluvi, (c.late 2nd-early 1st century B.C.), silver drachm (2.92 g), type imitating Massalia, 'scorpion' type, obv. female head to right, dotted border, rev. lion standing right, crude lettering above, (S.74 note, CCCBM II S13, de la Tour 2126). Toned, very fine, scarce.
