VITELLIUS, (Late April - Dec 20, 69 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.51 g), obv. Laureate head of Vitellius to right around A VITELLIVS GERMAN IMP TR P, rev. CONCOR DIA PR, Concordia draped and seated to left, with right hand holding patera and left hand a cornucopiae, (cf.S.2196, RSC 20, BMC 7, RIC 73). Attractive golden toning, very fine or better and very scarce.
