VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE as, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 77-78, (11.39 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG COS VIII, rev. eagle standing facing to right on globe S C across, (cf.S.2362, RIC 1237, cf.C.483). Deep green/brown patina, very fine or better and scarce.
