HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-128, (25.19 g), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. Hadrian seated to left on platform, before him Liberalitas standing left, emptying cornucopiae, facing him a citizen standing right, around COS III, in exergue LIBERALITAS AVG IIII, S C across field, (S.-, RIC 648d, C.932). Dark brown patina, old scrape on obverse, otherwise fine and very rare.
