CRUSADERS, Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, imitation bezants, 11th-12th centuries, gold bezant (3.83g), as an imitation of a dinar of the Ayyubid caliph al-Amir, Acre mint, second phase, struck 1148/59-1187, (Balog & Yvon 27c-d; Metcalf, Crusades 119-125; CCS Malloy et al 4 [p.117]). Good very fine, scarce.
