AELIUS, Caesar, (A.D. 136-138), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 137, (11.56 g), obv. bare head of Aelius to right, around L AELI[VS] CAESAR, rev. around [TR] POT COS II, across PANN O NIA, Pannonia standing facing, head left, holding vexillum in right hand and gathering dress in left hand, S C across field, (S.3988, RIC 1071, BMC 1936, C.25). Deep brown toning, uneven flan, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
