BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Euthydemos, (c.230/225-200 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.392 grams), obv. diademed bust of king Euthydemos to right, rev. naked Herakles seated to left on rock, holding club set on a pile of stones, to right **BASILEWS, to left **EUQUDHMOU*, PK monogram to right, (S.7516 [£600], M.94, SNG ANS 136-7 [Pl.8], Bopearachi Series 9 No.13-14). Field porosity, otherwise nearly extremely fine/good very fine and rare.
