BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Antimachos I, (174-165 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.580 grams), obv. draped bust of Antimachos to right wearing kausia, all within dotted border, rev. Poseidon standing facing holding trident and palm, to left **ANTIMACOU* and to right N in circle and **BASILEWS QEOU*, (S.7542 [£900], SNG ANS 276-7, Bopearachchi Series 1D, MIG 124b, Rahman 176-178). Light surface scratches, otherwise nearly extremely fine, in high relief and rare.
