EDWARD THE CONFESSOR, (1042-1066), silver penny, facing bust type, issued 1062-1065, obv. EADWARD RE, crowned bust of king facing, bearded, rev. EDPINE O LVNDE, (Eadwine of London) with small cross and circle in centre, (S.1183, N.830, BMC xiii). Golden red patination, extremely fine and rare.
