EDWARD IV, (second reign 1471-1483). Light coinage, 1477-1480, silver halfgroat, (1.20 g), Canterbury Mint, C on breast, mm rose, trefoils on cusps, Group XVIII, rev. CIVI TAS CAn TOR around, (S.2106, N.1637). Grey with red patination, clipped, otherwise nearly extremely fine and scarce.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Spink & Son, London with their tickets, acquired October 1998.
