CORINTHIA, Corinth, (350-306 B.C.), silver stater, (8.56 g), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to right, wearing plain Corinthian helmet, N and bucranium behind, (cf.S.2626, Pegasi 382, Calciati 382 [p.249], Ravel 1064). Slightly double struck on the obverse, a very sharp and attractive reverse, otherwise extremely fine and a rare symbol.
