COMMONWEALTH, (1649 - 1660), silver crown, 1651, (29.31 g), obverse with W and G joined to outer circle, reverse with G and H joined to outer edge, (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 3 [R4]). Attractive light grey tone, round and nearly very fine, with a light edge crack at 3 o'clock, very rare in this condition.

Ex Robert Tonner Collection, previously from Orlo Smith, Melbourne, May 1984, previously listed in Seaby Coin & Medal Bulletin, July 1968 (3005). "Workmanship piece" being round, well centred and struck on a broad flan.
