ITALY, Bruttium, Caulonia, silver stater, 475-425 B.C. (Kraay chronology), Group J (Noe), (7.10 g), obv. Apollo naked walking to right, before him a small stag standing to right, looking back, rev. stag standing to right, around [KAV]**L*ONI ATAM, (cf.S.463, SNG Fitz 730, HN Italy 2052; Noe 163 [same dies]). Struck from a rusty obverse die, very good/fine and rare.
