ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (19.93 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 155-156, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P IMP II, rev. around TR POT XIX COS IIII, Pax standing to left holding branch and cornucopiae, S C across field, (S.4249, RIC 945, C.980). Old dark brown patina, attractive very fine, scarce.
